What are Course Reserves and how can Faculty request them?

Answer

Each semester the Library posts faculty-requested Course Reserves for books, e-books, videos, and streaming videos in the Library Catalog. This resource is designed to ensure that students have greater and more equal access to the material. It can also help to save students money on textbooks!

The library will work to process faculty requests, build a course-specific listing in our Library Catalog, and do our best to ensure that these materials are made available to a high volume of students.

For more information on Course Reserves and to submit a request visit https://library.ciis.edu/reserves

NOTE: Request EVERYTHING you need. Materials may become more affordable over time, or available in more accessible formats. For this reason, we recommend filling out the form with each of the books or audio-visual materials you will use for your class, even if we've previously denied a request.
