How do I install "Save to RefWorks"?
Answer
Need to export citation information from a website (like a newspaper, blog, etc?)
RefWorks has an easy-to-use tool that installs in your web browser called Save to RefWorks.
The Save to RefWorks bookmarklet can grab citation information from any web page – in some cases a complete article – and add it to your RefWorks library.
Note: Save to RefWorks works best in Chrome or Firefox.
To install, follow these instructions:
-
Before you start, make sure your bookmark bar is visible in your web browser. Not sure how to make your bookmark bar visible?
-
Log in to your RefWorks account and click on the Tools button in the top toolbar. Then select Tools from the drop-down options.
-
On the next page, click the blue Install Save to RefWorks button.
-
Drag and drop the Save to RefWorks button to your bookmarks bar.
-
Quit your browser and re-open to ensure the install is complete. Then, you're done!
