Do I have access to the New York Times or Wall Street Journal through CIIS?

The Library is now offering free access to the New York Times to anyone with a CIIS email. This will give you unlimited access to current stories and archives back to 1851. Sadly, this does not include Games or Cooking.
The process for accessing is a little different from other library databases, as you have to set up an account of your own. But once you do that, you'll be set! Instructions for how to do this appear below, as well as in the link in the library's A-Z Databases.
Getting Access
Step 1: Go to www.accessnyt.com
Step 2: Search for and select "California Institute of Integral Studies." You will be redirected to the NYT registration page.
Step 3: Click "Create Account" and complete fields; you must use your ".edu" email address.
Step 4: Verify your account—you will receive a confirmation email. (It may end up in your spam folder, so be sure to check there, as you need to click the link in this email to complete registration.)
We do not currently subscribe to the Wall Street Journal but they offer student access at a discounted rate. For more information click the link below:
