I'm trying to submit an interlibrary loan request for a book, but there's no "Get from Other Library / Request a Scan" button. How can I submit my request?

If you're finding yourself in the above situation, the most common explanation for this is that you're looking at the record for an eBook, which, due to copyright limitations, generally aren't able to be requested via interlibrary loan. However, most of the time you'll be able to submit your request by finding record for the same book as a Print Book.

To do this, scroll down the page until you see the Explore Editions and Formats tab. Find a print edition of the book, and click on the title link to go to the record for that edition. If no print edition is available, email help@ciis.libanswers.com for further assistance with your request.

The print edition record should include a link to submit an interlibrary loan request, as shown below:

If you've followed these instructions and the request button still does not appear, email help@ciis.libanswers.com for further assistance.
