I have collected many resources for research. How can I find my citations to be used in RefWorks?

Answer

First, you would need to create an account using your CIIS email address. Learn more about RefWorks and how to create your account here: https://library.ciis.edu/newrefworks

Once you have created your account and are logged into your account you will want to hit the button  and Create new reference.

2. A screen should pop up. Look for the lightning bolt in the little circle. In this space you can search for the resource to see if the citation is already in a larger RefWorks Library. Search and see if there is a result that matches.

If you cannot find the item you're looking for, you can also search in our Library Catalog to see if the item is available and then "export" the citation to RefWorks.

From a record in the catalog you would click on Cite:

In the screen that pops up, click on Export to RefWorks. You do not need to select a citation style- RefWorks will do this automatically based on your RefWorks settings.
