How do I find Course Reserves?

Answer

Course reserves are library materials that faculty/professors put on hold through the Library. Some of these materials will be e-Resources (ie: eBooks, streaming video) and some may be physical items.

Lists of current semester Course Reserves can be found in two places.

The Library Website

Course Reserves can be found as a menu item under Library Services.

The Library Catalog

There is a small link for Course Reserves at the top left of the screen near the search bar in the Library Catalog.

Your professor may also have provided a link to their Course Reserves space on the syllabus or Canvas course space.

From the Course Reserves landing page, you can browse by scrolling, or search by course name or instructor. Digital resources can be accessed by clicking the corresponding link. Physical items are on reserve at the Library circulation desk at the Library on the second floor of the CIIS Mission campus. Physical items are for in-use library only and cannot be checked out.

Faculty member? See the link below for how to request Course Reserve items.
