I am a distance student in the U.S. Can I have books from the CIIS Library sent to me in the mail?
Answer
Yes! If you are a CIIS student/faculty that lives within the United States but outside the Bay Area counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara) the CIIS Library can send you print books in our collection.
We cannot send print books from other libraries, but you can request articles and up to one chapter per book be scanned using our interlibrary loan service (more information in the links below).
Alternatively, we can also scan up to one chapter from books in our collection for you. This can be a great option for international students, those that would like access to text faster than mail, and local students that would prefer not to come to campus to pick up the book. Only one chapter per book is permitted due to copyright restrictions.
To request a print book be sent to you, please place a hold on it. See the link below for instructions on how to place holds.
