How soon can I access a dissertation after it is defended?

CIIS dissertations and theses will appear in the Proquest Dissertations & Theses database about 3-4 months after they have been defended and accepted. However, those completed in the Spring semester will sometimes take longer to appear due to the large volume submitted to ProQuest at that time.
CIIS dissertations and theses are added to the library catalog as soon as we receive the hard copy, but this timeline can vary. If you would like further information regarding the availability of a specific dissertation or thesis, please email help@ciis.libanswers.com.
